Meet Our Destin, Florida Charter Captain

Hi I’m captain PJ Riggs,

I’m 22 years old and originally from Yukon, Oklahoma. I grew up with fishing pole in my hands and absolutely in love with all aspects of the outdoors – especially fishing!

My fishing career began following high school when I took a leap of faith and moved to Destin, Florida – without knowing anyone and hopped on a party boat. From there, I worked on various charter boats of all sizes from little center consoles to big sportfishers and absorbed as much info as possible over the last several years. 

Now, through God’s timing I’ve been able to set up my own charter business, Testify Charters in Destin, FL, which has been a dream of mine many years. 

Fishing’s about the creating memories and it’s always a good day when you’re able to be out on the water with a rod in your hands.

I accommodate all levels of skill and some of my favorites are family trips when I get to introduce kids to saltwater fishing. That to me, is what it’s all about!

Of course I also love to host bachelor parties and seasoned anglers – who want to experience the world-class fishing Destin, FL has to offer.

It’s awesome to get to share what I love with every group that comes aboard, and I never know what I’m going to learn in return.
