2022 was an amazing year of fishing the water surrounding Destin, FL with extended snapper seasons – including extra weekends open in both September and October! It was fantastic to have the added dates to take advantage of in-state water fishing.
Offshore trolling was also quite successful with common wahoo catches and some mahi-mahi as well. Even with good number of boats leaving Destin Harbor through East Pass this season, we were able to find nice red snapper and vermillion snapper – even towards the end of season!
2022 was certainly memorable…
